Cozy Up – Fall Bedding

Posted on September 26th, 2018 by exoutlet.

Recently we were discussing  fabulous Fall tablescapes.  Thinking about holiday gatherings brought us to another subject…much needed rest!  After desert is finished, the guests have gone and the last fork is loaded in the dishwasher, it’s time for bed!

We have gathered some seasonal looks, layered with comfort for those long chilly nights.  Here are some simple examples of how to create the Perfect Fall Bed!

1. Change Out Your Duvet Inserts
A loftier, thicker duvet insert can instantly provide warmth to cozy up when the nights become longer.
2. … And Duvet Cover
Since your inserts are changing, switch out your Duvet Covers too. We really like toning down the cover to reflect the season. So, choose something not as bright, but you don’t have to sacrifice color to achieve the look.

3. Faux Real
This season, be on the hunt for fabulous faux fur accessories. A simple way to get the look is through throw pillows and blankets. These pieces add instant warmth and wintery charm to a space.

4. Velvet
Yes, please! Velvet is not reserved for the “Granny Chic.”  Velvet is tried and true.  Plus, in the colder seasons it’s perfect for your bed because of its lush pile and illustrious sheen.

5. LAYERED WITH LOVE!
Add the above steps together, and that’s what you get. We cannot express this enough. Much like the infamous dip during football season, your bed should have lots of layers too.  On this bed, we have layered lots of pattern and textures to create an eclectic look that captures the rich, warm, colors of Autumn foliage.

When you go to sleep tonight, think of how much better you would sleep if you had gone to Exotic Home Coastal Outlet for your bedding needs.
